A program you won’t want to miss

You will hear the new ideas and innovative practices of the most forward-thinking people and companies—those who are creating new solutions and pushing the industry ahead.

Here’s just a taste:

  • William Tincup will be moderating a fast-paced session that will take a look at the ideas that are driving innovation in benefits. William will be joined by a panel of thought leaders and experts whose initiatives are shaking things up in the benefits industry. They will discuss the disruptive ideas that are changing the benefits landscape and creating real results for individuals and employers.
  • David Lansky, President and CEO of the Pacific Business Group on Health, will discuss how PBGH is leading efforts to improve the quality and affordability of health care. Dr. Lansky will highlight some promising models and success stories that demonstrate the profound role employers can play in transforming our entire health care system.
  • Matt Fellowes, Founder and CEO of HelloWallet, will cover the realities of financial challenges facing most Americans today, like the fact that the average near-retirement household has four times more debt than the balance in their 401(k). Dr. Fellowes will cover the key questions all employers should consider when evaluating their benefits strategy for today and the next decade. He will also discuss advances in behavioral science that organizations are applying today to maximize benefits spending and improve benefits adoption.
  • Benefits leaders from Marriott International, Hawaiian Airlines, Pitney Bowes and The Home Depot will candidly discuss the health care reform and the big questions facing large employers. What is the future of employer-sponsored health care? What role will wellness play? How will you communicate and educate people about the exchanges? This panel will discuss how their organizations are approaching these issues and more, while positioning themselves for success.
  • Fran Melmed will be joined by ShapeUp, MeYou Health, Zappos and Blue Shield of California to examine gamification, the latest buzzword taking over wellness programs. This panel of innovators knows games inside and out and will share their insights, the science behind the games, and the latest thinking on games now available to consumers, employers and health providers.
