That was my reaction when David Shadovitz, Editor-in-Chief of HR Executive, told me that the magazine was planning a benefits conference modeled after the wildly successful HR Technology. David and I shared ideas about the potential for a forward-looking conference like this and all the exciting, innovative and high-impact things happening in benefits right now. What if we could get all those ideas and innovators together and map out the future of benefits?
Well, fast forward a few months and that’s exactly what we’re doing. I’m honored to be the program chair for the brand new Human Resource Executive Health & Benefits Leadership Conference, slated for April 22–24, 2013, in Las Vegas.
Right now, we are putting together an employer advisory board that includes companies as diverse as Tesla Motors and Pitney Bowes.
And we are looking for both employers and vendors to share their success stories, points of view and creative solutions at the debut event. This request for proposal is an opportunity for you to submit your ideas for presentations that focus on the future of employee health and benefits.
Do you have exceptional results with employee benefits? Are you using new technology or new methods to drive innovation? Are you looking to the future of benefits and leading the way? Will CHROs, VPs of HR, Directors of HR, and total rewards and benefits professionals and consultants get immediate value from your presentation?
If you answered yes to any or all of the above, we want to hear from you! You can email me with ideas too.
And we’d love to hear what will make you get on a plane and join us at this event. Who do you want to hear from? What do you want to learn? What do you want to accomplish in the next ten years of your career? How can an event like this help you get there?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
