In an era of rapid change and increasing demands, the mental well-being of faculty and staff is more critical than ever. This session explores how institutions can respond to faculty and staff needs due to both traumatic events and everyday stressors, while moving beyond reactive approaches to cultivate a culture of flourishing. We’ll also address the critical roles of resilience and recovery support.

Drawing on real-world case studies and evidence-based strategies, we’ll examine how universities and associations supporting higher education are implementing proactive, strengths-based mental health programs that empower individuals to thrive, personally and professionally. You’ll gain actionable insights into program design and education, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable implementation tailored to the unique dynamics of higher education environments.
