Exciting announcement! We received a Silver Quill Excellence Award in IABC’s Pacific Plains Competition for our 2007 Intuit Benefits Campaign. And, we were an Honorable Mention in PSCA’s Signature Awards Competition for Intuit’s 2007 401(k) campaign. I was absolutely delighted to find out about these two awards. It is such a privilege to work with Intuit, a company that really “gets it” when it comes to their employees and their benefits programs—and where we can really do our best work.
The Silver Quill Excellence Award was in the Benefits Communication category. We were among four firms in the San Francisco area to receive an award. The IABC Pacific Plains Region cover firms throughout the Central and Western United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. The International Association of Business Communicators is a professional network of 16,000 business communication professionals in more than 70 countries.
We received the Signature Award Honorable Mention in the Plan Design Changes—Small Company category. The Signature Awards is an annual competition designed to honor excellence in profit sharing and 401(k) plan communication and investment education sponsored by the Profit Sharing Council of America. I’m especially humbled by this award because, from what I can tell, we’re the only boutique firm that sponsored a winning company. And, the judging is done by a panel of business leaders and employee communication experts who look at how companies design, manage and communicate their 401(k) plans. PSCA is a non-profit association of 1,200 companies and their six million plan participants.
Big thanks to our clients at Intuit who give us the opportunity to do such great work! And, thank you to everyone on our team, Carolyn Grimsic, Kelly Parkinson and Kristin Thompson, and the great team over at Fox Parlor who made it happen.
